Awakening Your Intuition Zone Through Nature

Nature can play a significant role in accessing our intuition. I'd heard about this from people, but it wasn't until I started spending some time in nature that I saw this first-hand. It's not really that intuition is accessed only when you are with nature, but rather, the more time you spend in nature (or imagining you're in nature - but more on that later) the more frequently you'll experience sudden insights that has something or other to do with your intuition.

You may have heard that when you are feeling calm and serene, that itself paves the way to opening up your innermost feelings. Nature often has a special way of calming that busy body of ours. Imagine yourself walking along the woods, hearing birds sing, and wind blowing, cooling your skin… it's just you and the lush greenery. If you were to close your eyes and really experience what I described in that last sentence, to fully visualize it, then it probably gives you a calming effect, doesn't it?

Maybe it's magic, but I have experienced how nature has a special way of just getting rid of all my worries and relaxing me, my body, mind and soul. It helps me focus my attention and therefore it also helps develop my intuition. Next time you go for a stroll, do what I did and you will notice a difference. Here's something you can try next time you're in nature:

  1. Ask yourself a simple question about an issue or problem that you are facing (E.g. - My boss seems to be finding fault in everything I do. How can I handle him?)
  2. Focus on your question for a few minutes and then let it go
  3. Now take a walk in nature, whilst enjoying your surroundings
  4. When you feel like you need to rest awhile or need a break, stop and pick up an object from your surroundings. This could be a stone, a leaf, a stick, whatever you will see lying around
  5. Pay close attention to that object and while doing that, ask yourself or your intuition 'what insights can nature give me about my question or about the problem I'm facing right now?'

After a while, you can sit in meditation or do anything that will calm you. The solution to your question might arise in the process, after you finish the whole thing or even later in your dreams. It can happen any time as a result of learning how to become truly still.

Intuition is actually a sacred gift that can add a new dimension to our lives and make it richer. I'm starting to explore intuition more, so if you'd like to read more about how to develop intuition then here's resource that may be helpful to you:
